We work with you to deliver best-practices-based training to help ensure you have the best people in the business in front of your clients and prospects and the best people in the business leading your teams.

Business development and leadership training programs custom designed and exclusively delivered for the modern financial professional.
We are a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based financial services consulting and training firm founded in 1999. Our core philosophy is “Better people. Better results”. We believe the company with the most talented and skilled people will usually be the best performing company. Our mission is to help you build the best people.
We deliver research and best-practices-based training programs for financial institutions and financial professionals. We help our clients develop the skills of their most valuable asset, their people! We believe better people produce better results.
We deliver research-based training content specific to financial services. We do not “invent” much novel content and we do not try to transform your financial professionals by introducing them to car, copier, or pharmaceutical sales techniques. We study the most successful financial professionals from the past and present and use the results of our research to build our training content. Our instructors are all former financial professionals themselves.
Any financial professional! We specialize in leadership development training for those who lead your teams, and business development and soft-skill programs for your front line/client-facing financial professionals.
As a matter of policy, we do not mention any clients by name. Our clients seem to appreciate this policy. However, we would consider ourselves focused on the Financial 300. Our clients tend to have larger leadership and sales teams requiring a comprehensive training solution.
We listed several of our most popular programs on our training page, so feel free to check them out. Our “skill development clinics” category basically means we can customize a training program to cover any specific skill(s) your team needs to work on.
We do business in a consultative, collaborative, customized, and candid fashion. We do not try to “wow” you with slick websites or over-the-top marketing packages designed to tell you how great we are. We find that, in most cases, these types of presentations regularly oversell a firm’s capabilities.
We actually have many core values, but we find most value statements to be a tad bit lengthy and not very memorable. We run our firm with the word “respect” as the key driver of everything we do. Respect to us means doing the right thing in every situation. And, of course, respect means honesty, integrity, confidentiality, candor, value, product excellence, community service, executional excellence, delivering on promises, exceeding expectations, etc., etc. We find that we when include the “respect rule” in every conversation and every project (internal or external) we usually end up with great results.
We included a pricing list on our training page. If you do not see a package that matches your project objectives, please be sure to talk with us. We can usually customize a proposal to suit your unique situation.
If you are serious about hiring a firm like ours to help with your training initiative, we could most likely conduct a trial workshop for you and your team. If you like what you see and decide to hire us, we will roll the cost of that workshop into the broader engagement. If we are not the right fit for you, then you are free to say “thanks, but no thanks” and the workshop is 100% “on the house” at our expense. We do not want anybody to hire us unless they are completely confident that we are the right fit for them. Making a large-scale training investment should never be a guessing game. You should know what you are getting before you agree to pay for it.

When working with business, affluent, and high-net-worth clients, the basic “feature/benefit product dump” approach is not very effective. Our IDEAS program provides skills in all phases of a true consultative sales experience. The IDEAS program (Initiating, Discovering, Engineering, Advising, Servicing) leaves no consultative sales situation unaddressed.

Our most commonly requested skill workshop is Effective Negotiating Skills, but we also have workshops for public speaking, objection resolution, closing, networking, and many more. Last but not least, if you already have a great program in your training library that you would like us to teach, we can do that as well.
All of our workshop pricing is based on a minimum of 25 participants per workshop and does not include project-related expenses. Project-related expenses such as travel, meals, print production, etc. are billed separately following each training session.
